Cake On Her Face :-)

Macee had fun with her own "smash" cake at her birthday party. She got her hands covered in frosting and managed to get some in her mouth. She liked the actually cake better than the frosting. I also think it was overwhelming to have everyone watching her and taking pictures. It was cute :-)

1st Birthday Party - Hearts And More Hearts

Macee's 1st Birthday Party was on Saturday, Feb. 14, so we decided to have the theme be red and pink hearts. Here are a few pictures of what Straight Street looked like all decorated :-)

The Lion Says "ROAR"

So Macee got this fun zoo toy from Aunt Brenda for Christmas. She pushes the button and the toy plays music, makes animal noises, and the animals spin around so she can grab them as they go by. Oh and when she pushes the button and the animals spin, she claps in delight!! From this toy, she learned that the lion says "ROAR." So she loves to tell you that, so the next time you see her, ask her what the lion says. She will grin and then let out a big "ROAR" :-)

Blocks

Grandad gave her these great wooden blocks for Christmas and this is her first time playing with them. The blocks are the perfect size for her little hands and she can make lots of noise by banging them together. We also play "ready, set, GO" and she knocks over the blocks and then we clap :-)

Look At Those Legs :-)

My great friend Carrie sent Macee some fun clothes for Christmas, and I wanted her to be able to see Macee's entire outfit, especially her little legs in these pants!! No she is not walking yet, only leaning up against the chair. I just love those legs!!

Where's Macee?

Macee is having so much fun with her reflection in the mirror. She loves to make faces, wave, and even talk to herself. I love watching her discover :-)
